House of SEBA Indigenous Ras Tafari Community is a Jamaica-based spiritual and cultural institution preserving, protecting, and promoting ancient Ras Tafari livity.
Rooted in faith, self-determination, and community order, House of SEBA provides sacred space for worship, reasoning, cultural expression, spiritual grounding, and community development.
Our work honours the teachings and legacy of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I while advancing education, wellness, agriculture, elder care, economic sovereignty, and self-reliance.
We are building sustainable institutions that uplift Jamaica, strengthen the global African diaspora and preserve Indigenous Ras Tafari culture for future generations.

The House of Seba Indigenous Ras Tafari Community is committed to building sustainable institutions that uplift, educate, heal, and care for the people of Jamaica while honoring the teachings and legacy of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I. Our vision is centered on economic sovereignty, community development, elder care, education, self-reliance, and the preservation of Indigenous Ras Tafari culture and values.

What House of SEBA Stands For
We the House Of Seba Members hereby declare and affirm that, we subscribe to an ancient belief and indigenous spiritual faith and practice as an Original Native/ Rastafari, classified as a Benevolent indigenous group govern by Divine Law, protected by Autonomous Tribal Identity as ancient Israelites/ kushites the original people of the planet.
Rastafari is a sovereign indigenous livity of Ethiopian people that encompasses our belief system, faith, education, health and work.
The biblical roots of our belief is an Ethiopic Messianic of the 12 tribes of Israel, a faith who adheres to the Melchizedek Order, the Constitution and teachings of our esteemed Majesties; His Majesty Halie Selassie I, king of Israel and the 225* Emperor of the Solomonic Lineage of kings and Queen Makeda (Sheba) and Her Royal Highness Empress Woizero Menen Asfaw, defenders of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Beta Christian Faith.

Faith, History and Responsibility
The Sacramental Meaning of Ganja
Within Ras Tafari livity, ganja is approached as a sacred herb connected to prayer, reasoning, meditation, healing, communion and spiritual grounding. Its place within the faith is not recreational entertainment; it carries cultural meaning, discipline and responsibility.
A Tradition Preserved
For generations, Rastafari preserved ganja as a sacred plant despite persecution, imprisonment, displacement and social exclusion.
The Ancient Ones who carried this tradition protected knowledge, faith and cultural practice under difficult conditions. Their sacrifice forms part of the living history that House of SEBA works to preserve and pass to future generations.
Recognition and Sacramental Rights
Jamaica's Dangerous Drugs (Amendment) Act, 2015 created legal provisions connected to Rastafari sacramental use of ganja in specified circumstances.
House of SEBA supports the respectful exercise, protection and continued understanding of these sacramental rights while emphasizing responsible practice, spiritual purpose and compliance with the laws and authorizations that apply.
What Your Contribution Means
Contributions help House of SEBA preserve Indigenous Ras Tafari heritage and strengthen community work. Support may assist Ancient Ones, families and descendants of those who sacrificed to preserve the sacramental tradition, while also advancing education, cultural programmes, community care, sacred-space development and the long-term work of self-reliance.
Participation is voluntary and guided by personal responsibility. Nothing on this page should be understood as permission to possess, cultivate, distribute or use ganja outside the circumstances allowed by Jamaican law.
